Amsterdam’s river IJ is my backyard.

Whether exploring NDSM, a former shipyard turned into a breeding ground for artists, sailing the ferries, or relaxing at the waterside with a cup of Al Ponte’s fine Italian coffee, I love spending time on and alongside the river.

Naturally I have lots of IJ-related photos as well. Never enough, really, for no two days are the same. Weather conditions, activities on and off the water, the ships, the people, the animals… wonderful!
